It’s a terrible platform that snatched victory from the jaws of defeat by being the only easy to use VoIP client right as Skype was dying.
The nice thing is, the lack of defining features and it’s general awful qualities will make it easy to supplant when another true competitor emerges.
This is way too relatable, haha.
I want kids, but the government is doing their damndest to make it as difficult as possible for us by crashing the economy, cutting all federal programs, staffing agencies with NPCs, etc. Give generous paternity leave stipulations, tax credits, legalize surrogacy, and give credits for AI (artificial insemination) and surrogacy. Not to mention universal healthcare and child care credits.
Make it easy for us to have kids, and we will, lol. Quit cockblocking us.
We need an income tax and wealth tax on those with over $50m in assets (including taxing the base 50m). Then we can close existing shortfalls from the pandemic, reduce or eliminate sales tax, and have a better and more equitable tax structure.
Which will be incredibly important, since that fucking cunt is going to blow a massive hole in our $60b+ in our yearly exports.
Send them a pic of your sona
Looks like wood is back on the menu, boys!
Honestly, I just goose the throttle whenever I need to carry it up stairs.
Shouldn’t there be ADA accommodations? Regardless, I never trust community bike storage unless each unit is individual. I keep my city ebike in my apartment behind the front door.
Swimming is definitely something that should be taught as part of schooling. Perhaps you’ll never need it, but it is an important skill to have in case of an emergency, whether that’s falling into a pool, getting caught in a flood, or saving a small child in a body of water.
I don’t think I’ve ever spelled this word correctly even once, haha. I just know it has a K, a U, R, and a random smattering of other letters that I feebly try and type out. Google can usually understand what I was trying to spell :P
Probably one of the least destructive fetishes, getting treated like a kid, lol. Or perhaps I’ve just seen too much crazy shit on the Internet after a decade on early 10s Reddit.
BF1 with standard issue rifles was great. One week had standard issue only, and it was a ton of fun, but a lot of people whined because it was “too hard” lol. (Getting shot generally killed you instantly).
BF1 was also one of the only games where shotguns were as powerful as their IRL counterparts. Once again, people complained that they’d get dropped by a shotgun 3x-4x the range of a video game shotgun. People didn’t realize that shotguns have an effective range greater than 2m IRL, lol. Unfortunately, all the standard weapons were nerfed, all the prototypes or three person guns were modified to be one person, and buffed. And unfortunately, that was the last game patch, so things were left horribly imbalanced in an otherwise amazing game. Still, WW1-era fighting and ship tactics still work.
My family is super snuggly. Apparently, few human families are. Seems odd, watching how other animal families and societies function.
Oh man, I’d say just the opposite! Date your friends! You know them well, you become good friends before you ever even start dating, which is great for pacing, and you both probably share a lot in common.
There’s nothing quite like holding hands with your best friend, or quietly reading together. Or going skiing together ❤️
It’s how long term relationships have formed for a handful of my buddies. And it’s also how I met my spouse :)
While not everything works out, having a rock solid friendship can lead to an extremely strong relationship.
Here’s your answer:
My friends and I categorically refuse to visit states in red. During the pandemic, their refusal to use masks and vaccines resulted in their hospital capacity reaching critical conditions, and they had to export a ton of their sick and dying to Washington and Montana, among other states. This deferred care for resident cancer patients in those states.
Guess how they thanked the states that bailed their asses out come November 5th? If you guessed “crushing tariffs”, you guessed right.
There are a few good souls there, but they have a disproportionately high number of extremely evil people.
This is mostly true, haha. Though…
I held open a door in Canada and got berated for it by someone in their 40s. He wanted me to slam the door in his face, which I get if it was an apartment on the east side of Vancouver, but this was not the case, lol.
I’m always amazed that Canada has more extreme personality types than where I’ve lived in the US. Generally people are more nice, but the mean ones are jaw-droppingly mean, lol. Always gives me a bit of culture shock whenever it happens, which is probably once every 10 visits or so (I visit often).
The most recent one was someone who was extremely bothered that we rented out a space for a wedding and admonished the groom that he was using a community space an hour before it was set to open (we got permission from the landlords to use it as such.)
All that aside, Canada is not for sale, Fuck those cunts in the Trump administration, and you guys were fully justified for what you did in 1812. 😎
District level heating is actually pretty efficient, some universities do the same thing on purpose to save on bills. Our relatively young city does it with the downtown skyscrapers for the same reason.
The other nice thing is that when you upgrade the heating system to be less carbon intensive, you can instantly have a ton of buildings all jump instantly to fewer emissions too.
This was a really interesting article!
