Christ, that drives me crazy. It makes me want to stop and say, “well now I’m not doing it at all,” because in my heart, I’m a child.

Me, but with laundry piles. And then I complain that I don’t know where any of my clothes are. Yeah, because they’re in about 10 different piles and baskets in 3 different rooms.

Even outside of the US, it’s been pretty common in my experience. Especially in cities that are a lot older where there isn’t a lot of space for new builds and they generally went up instead of out.
